UNC  Commencement update

Three-day celebration takes place October 8-10, 2021.

On Oct. 10 at 1 p.m., we will celebrate your Commencement in Kenan Stadium. Additional highlights for the weekend include the popular Bell Tower climb, a celebration for Carolina Firsts and the UNC General Alumni Association’s traditional champagne toast. Continue reading.

Keynote Speaker

  • Roy Williams ’72 (’73 MAT) will serve as the keynote speaker for your Commencement celebration. A two-time Carolina alumnus, he led the men’s basketball team to three NCAA championships during his 18 year tenure.
