Dr. Kathryn Gunn, a postdoctoral fellow in Saskia Neher’s lab, was selected as a 2021 Leading Edge Fellow. Leading Edge provides a platform for female and non-binary postdocs to share their research, network, and perform career development. Dr. Gunn presented on her research for the group at the beginning of June in a talk entitled, Stable Vesicular Storage of Metabolic Enzymes by Helical Oligomerization.
Dr. Gunn was thrilled to be chosen and has enjoyed interacting with the Leading Edge community and hearing about all of the exciting research the other fellows are performing. “The kick-off symposium was amazing and I feel much more knowledgeable about the faculty search process. I’ll be more prepared to tackle that challenge in the future,” Dr. Gunn said.
