Gabrielle Dardis earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics in May 2023 and joined RTI Health Solutions as a medical writer that June. The medical writing team was small at the time—comprising 4 other writers including fellow UNC alums Sara Musetti Jenkins and Lacey Lopez—but quickly expanded which allowed her the opportunity to take on publication project and team leadership roles starting in 2024 and promotion to Senior and then Principal Medical Writer positions in 2025.
Encouraged by the innovative and entrepreneurial environment of RTI-HS, she has also participated in many professional and business development opportunities, such as attending international conferences and serving as a representative on a company-wide Artificial Intelligence Council. With a longstanding interest in a strategic role beyond publication development, Gabrielle became involved in more complex proposal development and project leadership in the fall of 2025 and actively envisioned and shaped the Senior Integrated Evidence Strategist role, to which she was just officially promoted.
