Jamie successfully defended her dissertation and received her PhD on March 27, 2014.
Jaime Campbell, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Slep, successfully defended her dissertation and received her Ph.D. on March 27, 2014! The title of her dissertation is “The XMAP215 Family Drives Microtubule Polymerization Using a Structurally Diverse TOG Array.”
Many of Jaime’s close friends and family were able to attend her public defense including Tom Fox (fiancé), Jan and Jerry Campbell (parents) and Jodie Campbell (sister).
Jaime will start a post-doctoral research position this summer. She has multiple offers for positions in cytoskeletal labs and is still finishing her interviews at this time.
