Skylar Grimsley, the first graduate student to join the Starbird lab, was accorded an honorable mention for an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship! Skylar Grimsley was also selected to receive a complete travel award to attend a Pair-Up Advanced Imaging Workshop at The Allen Institute in Seattle this summer, sponsored by American Society for Cell Biology, Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
