About Our Research
Research efforts within the Division of Critical Care Medicine include projects involving quality improvement projects for improving patient outcomes, simulation training, extracorporeal life support, delirium in critically ill children, IV medication and drug infusions, congenital heart disease, medical ethics, renal replacement therapy, and patient safety.
Our faculty collaborates in these projects with colleagues across campus, including researchers working throughout the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
