About Our Research

Research efforts within the Pediatric Infectious Disease division include projects involving: HIV, Hepatitis, Chlamydia trachomatis, antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic stewardship, disease pathogenesis, global health initiatives, vaccine development, and many more.

Our faculty collaborates in these projects with colleagues across campus, including researchers working throughout the School of Medicine, the Gillings School of Global Public Health, and the School of Pharmacy.
