ORT supports core facilities throughout their operational lifecycle, including launching and sunsetting cores, completing rate reviews, and navigating administrative processes across UNC–Chapel Hill.
ORT serves as an advocate for all cores, with strong capacity to champion needs within the School of Medicine while remaining committed to supporting cores across the entire UNC–Chapel Hill ecosystem.
ORT strengthens core personnel through education and resources, offering training, ABRF memberships, and guidance on NIH policy, sustainability, and other initiatives to help directors effectively manage their facilities and stakeholders.
