Meet Alden Pridgen
H. Alden Pridgen is a Speech-Language Pathologist whose passion turned to purpose when she chose to expand her love of music and the stage into a career of helping others. Alden graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree in Opera and Vocal Performance and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Alden trained for the treatment of facial paralysis with Facial Therapy Specialists International (FTSI). As a performer, Alden understands the importance of facial expression as an integral part of verbal and non-verbal communication. She strives to work with patients on regaining symmetry, function and comfort in their personal identity by working closely with the patient and multidisciplinary facial nerve team to achieve patient centered goals.
