Dr. Folami Ideraabdullah (Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics) was awarded an R21 grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) for her project titled “Investigating the Role of Metabolic Programming in Vitamin D Deficiency Induced Adiposity”.
Dr. Karen Mohlke (Professor, Department of Genetics) was successful in renewing her R01 grant for the second time.
Dr. Jeremy Purvis (Associate Professor, Genetics) was awarded an R01 grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) for his proposal titled “Computational Models of the Human Cell Cycle to Reveal Disease Mechanism and Inform Treatment”.
