
David Y. Hwang, MD, FCCM, Professor of Neurology at the UNC School of Medicine, has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Regents of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (ACCM).
The ACCM Board of Regents provides strategic oversight and leadership for the College, which supports excellence in critical care practice, research, and education across disciplines. As a Regent, Dr. Hwang will help guide the organization’s mission, contribute to high-level decision-making, and represent the critical care community at a national level.
ACCM is a distinguished body within the Society of Critical Care Medicine that honors and engages leaders who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and contributions to the field of critical care. Dr. Hwang has long been recognized for his clinical expertise in neurocritical care, his academic leadership, and his dedication to advancing patient-centered critical care delivery.
