Jill Watson, MHA, has been named Associate Chair of Administration for the Department of Medicine, effective November 3, 2025. The Department of Neurology celebrates her leadership and contributions as she transitions into this new role.
The Department of Neurology congratulates Jill Watson, MHA, on her appointment as the next Associate Chair of Administration (ACA) for the Department of Medicine, effective November 3, 2025. Jill will be stepping down from her current role as ACA for the Department of Neurology to take on this new leadership position.
Jill joined the Department of Neurology in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role as Associate Chief for Administration in the Division of Hospital Medicine and Geriatrics within the Department of Medicine. Her career at the UNC School of Medicine began in 2012 as an administrative intern, and she has since held several key operational and administrative roles, including Business Manager for the Meadowmont Heart and Vascular Clinics.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
