The Alzheimer’s Association is pleased to announce that Todd Cohen, PhD, a researcher from UNC, is the recipient of a $99,722 New Investigator Research Grant.
The grant will be used to fund Dr. Cohen’s lab at UNC, which will study tau acetylation (development of tau tangles, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s) and exploring ways to prevent tau tangles as a potential treatment for the disease.
