UNC Radiology held its annual graduation event on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Chapel Hill Country Club. The event hosted graduates, their families, and faculty with a cocktail hour, awards, and dinner. The celebration was a welcome return after graduation in-person events had been put on hold for the last few years due to COVID.

Teaching Award

Service Award
Winner: Elizabeth Deans
Nominated and selected by faculty to recognize a resident who has consistently gone above and beyond their expected responsibilities as a resident role model and department ambassador in pursuit of furthering the missions of the department.
Clinical Excellence Award
Winners: Rachel Brader and Jaspreet Hira
Nominated and selected by faculty to recognize a resident who has outstanding clinical knowledge, diagnostic and interventional excellence, and mastery across the field of Radiology.
Bream Award

Nominated and selected by residents who received the most nominations for teaching excellence.
