The Department of Radiology would like to congratulate both its faculty members and residents selected in March 2019 as UNC School of Medicine Academy of Educators inductees. Drs. Katrina McGinty, David Mauro, and Brian Handly have been selected as 2019 AOE Faculty Inductees. Three Diagnostic Radiology residents — Drs. Bryan Ashley, Justin Rodriguez, and Will Boyd — have been selected as 2019 AOE Resident Inductees. Drs. Ashley, Rodriguez and Boyd join Drs. Clayton Commander, Joshua Wallace, John Campbell, and Tirth Patel as AOE resident members.
New AOE members will be inducted at the AOE’s annual Evening of Scholarship in May 2019. Both at the faculty and resident levels, AOE members selected have demonstrated excellence in direct teaching or mentoring, instructional development and curriculum design, educational administration, leadership and educational research, and other areas of medical education.
