Application & Eligibility

Minimum Requirements:

Medical Education: Completion of medical school and a radiology residency outside the U.S./Canada.
USMLE: Passing scores for Steps 1, 2 (CK), and 3 (Step 3 must be completed for H-1B sponsorship).
Licensure: Eligible for a full or limited North Carolina Medical License.
Visa Sponsorship: UNC typically supports J-1 visas for qualified candidates. People with subspecialty expertise & Fellowships in home country are encouraged to apply and their visa sponsorship will be decided by the selection committee & Leadership.

Application Materials:

Updated CV (with exact dates of all prior training).
One-page Personal Statement focusing on academic and clinical goals.
Three Letters of Recommendation (at least one from your prior Residency Director).
USMLE Score Reports.
