Beverly Errede and I wanted to make everyone aware that we are seeking nominations for this year’s Staff Excellence Awards. As you know, this is a yearly award given out to two BCBP staff members (one in the category of administration staff and one in the category of research staff). We are seeking nominations for those who have not only performed an excellent job but have gone above and beyond what their position description lists as their normal duties.
Criteria for nominating an employee include:
- Teamwork
- creativity and innovation
- positive attitude
- enthusiasm
- productivity
- flexibility
- leadership.
Nominations should be typed using the nomination template attached to this email and include some details regarding why your candidate should be selected as one of our Staff Employees of the year. A list of those eligible are also included along with past winners from both categories.
Please email your nomination to Beverly Errede (errede@email.unc.edu). She will collect the nominations and have them reviewed by a committee formed of faculty, staff, students and post-docs within the department.
The deadline for submitting your nominations is December 15, 2021.
