The Lineberger Graduate Award recognizes the Cancer Center’s top PhD students for not only their superb research studies but also for service to the University of North Carolina as well as outreach to the local community.
Juan Carvajal Garcia’s advisors included in Biochemistry and Biophysics the Ramsden lab and in Biology the Sekelsky lab. Juan completed the UNC Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology. He earned PhD on March 18, 2021.
