Congrats to Biochemistry and Biophysics graduate student, Ike Emerson in the Conlon lab, who received the 2023 Marzluff RNA Fellowship Award from the UNC RNA Discovery Center! Ike is the inaugural recipient of this fellowship award, a 1-year grant, which provides stipend support for his studies of sex differences in cardiac miRNA expression.
