Critial Analysis & Communication in Biochemistry (2 credit hours) Monday lecture 12-1:30pm & Tuesday Seminar 11-1pm. Develop a range of communication skills including science podcasting, oral presentations, and roundtable deliberation coupled with in-depth analysis of seminar speaker research. Engage with invited speakers at lunch.
Participants will:
•Select and critique research papers for oral presentations and round-table discussions.
•Discuss research with local speakers attending class.
•Become familiar with state-of-the-art laboratory techniques and experimental approaches in biochemistry, molecular, and cell biology.
