Congratulations to Dr. Julia Brittain, Research Assistant Professor of Biochemistry & Biophysics, who was recently selected to the Editorial Board for the publication World Journal of Hematology.

Dr. Julia Brittain, Research Assistant Professor of Biochemistry & Biophysics, has been selected to the Editorial Board of World Journal of Hematology. Dr. Brittain’s four year term runs from 2011-2015. The World Journal of Hematology (WJH) is a bimonthly peer-reviewed, online, and open-access (OA) journal. WJH covers experimental, clinical, oncological and transplant hematology, transfusion science, hemostasis and thrombosis, traditional medicine, integrated Chinese and Western medicine, evidence-based medicine, epidemiology and nursing.

Dr. Brittain works on coagulation in sickle cell disease on her independent projects and collaborates with the Leslie Parise lab.
