Introduce yourself. Hi! My name is Jan, I am a new member in Wolfgang Bergmeier’s lab. I feel honored and excited to have the opportunity to learn and train at the Blood Research Center.
Where are you joining us from? I’m originally from Austria, but I studied medicine and completed my subsequent training at the University of Tübingen in Germany.
What is your research specialty? My research focuses on the prothrombotic role of different platelet subpopulations in antibody-mediated prothrombotic diseases.
What are your personal hobbies or interests? In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, listening to music, making music, and other activities.
