The UMA Manager of the Year award selection is based on University career accomplishments, both inside and outside normal job responsibilities, or a specific accomplishment made within the past twelve months that have been of major significance. Any current UNC-Chapel Hill faculty or staff member may submit a nomination. Lynn’s nomination was supported by the faculty, students, fellows, and staff in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics where she is the department manager. Lynn has been in service with the university for over 35 years and acted as department manager for Biochemistry & Biophysics since January 2006. Lynn was presented with her award at the UMA Annual Meeting on May 23, 2012. Congratulations to a very deserving manager!
