World Mental Health Day raises awareness of mental health issues and mobilizes efforts to support mental health around the world. With the number of individuals experiencing mental health symptoms growing, it is critical that we educate the public, fight stigma, provide support, and advocate for policies and improved healthcare systems for people that experience mental illness and their families.
Take time to make mental health and well-being a priority in your life. Mental health is an important part of overall health. The Wellness section of the Biochemistry & Biophysics Department website has links to resources and information through UNC.
