Rachel Redler, under the direction of successfully defended her dissertation and received her PhD on December 6, 2013! The title of her dissertation is ““The Impact of Post-Translational Modifications on Aggregation of Cu, Zn Superoxide Dismutase in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis”“.
Members of her family who attended included her parents, brother, grandparents, and great-aunt and great-uncle, as well as her boyfriend and his father.
Rachel will continue working in the ‘s lab until spring. In May Rachel will begin a postdoctoral position in the lab of Steven Burden at NYU Langone Medical Center.
