The UNC School of Medicine ranked in the top 30 in 13 areas in the latest “Best Global Universities” rankings, published by U.S. News & World Report, and UNC-Chapel Hill was ranked 36th overall.
Pharmacology and toxicology, which are separate disciplines at UNC, both ranked 2nd, behind only Harvard. UNC endocrinology/metabolism ranked 8th. These three areas were the only disciplines ranked in the top 10.
