How does laser hair removal work?

Laser hair removal safely targets and destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin or tissue. Since the treatment only affects hair follicles in the growing stage, multiple sessions are required.

Is laser hair removal right for me?

At the UNC Facial Aestheticis Center we are able to treat patients with all skin types for laser hair removal.

What areas can be treated?

The most common areas treated are face, neck, underarms, and bikini area.
