The Wake County Intellectual and Developmental Disability Clinic is a clinic for patients who live in Wake County, 13 to 30 years old, and on the autism spectrum and/or with intellectual disability. Patients in this age range are experiencing a lot of transitions, from transition to high school to transition out of an educational setting and into adulthood.  The goal of this clinic is to help patients and families manage these transitions.

We offer medication management, individual psychotherapy, and group therapy, as well as parent support/psychotherapy as needed. Psychological assessment of current patients for treatment recommendations and reevaluations for services. We will also assist with identifying other community resources to help individuals work toward independence

Patients or families can call to request an intake evaluation at 919-445-0842
