Dear BCBP members,
As we discussed recently in one of our faculty meetings, the SOM is putting a lot of effort in obtaining actual data on how diverse or not our teams are, rather than estimate numbers. I would encourage all in our department to participate in the AAMC Diversity Engagement Survey for UNC SOM. It is a very quick survey that will provide meaningful data about the climate in the SOM. The results will determine our strategic priorities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion across the SOM.
