We want to let our Asian and Asian American learners, staff, faculty, leaders,  and community members know that we care, we hear you, we are your allies, and we want you to feel supported. As we think about safety and support, let us all make sure individuals who identify as Asian or Asian American know we are one Carolina family, and we are here for them.

As a Carolina community, it is important that we take care of each other. The continuous and current anti-Asian violence, harm, and racism continues to permeate our society. While we emphatically reject behavior that promotes hate, we will continue to speak out on these issues as a School of Medicine and a University. (Vital Signs)
