Dear Colleagues,
The two-day virtual semi-finalist round dates have been set. The virtual interview dates are based on the availability of the candidate; our preferred process is sooner rather than later, but if an applicant is unavailable, then we work around their next best availability.
With that being said, the BCBP Chair Search Committee has asked that the department
hold the following dates for Biochemistry and Biophysics Chair virtual meetings with the department. We will invite you to join us for the candidates’ public talks. To preserve the identity of the applicants, their names will be released 3 days prior to arrival.

All talk presentations (Oct. 5, 13, 18, 25, 27) 9:00-10:15 AM. Please respond to the calendar invites.
Meetings with each semi-finalist will consist of:
- UNC SoM Leadership
- Biochemistry and Biophysics Leadership (groups and 1:1s)
- SoM Basic Science Chairs
- Group meetings of specialized faculty
- Full Professors Group
- Faculty Group (adjunct, etc)
- Research Faculty group
- Research Technicians group
- Biochemistry and Biophysics Diversity Group
- Graduate Student Training Group
- Core Directors Group
- Plus, the requested individuals the semi-finalist would like to meet with if the person is not already on the schedule.
