May is National Bike Month and Bike Week is May 16-22, 2022.

Brandy Curtis, a third-year graduate student always bikes to Amy Gladfelter’s lab in the Genome Sciences Building.

We encourage members of the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics who ride their bikes to the lab to tag us on social media this month.

U.S. Pedal your way to healthy living and safer transportation this Bike to Work Week — observed each year in the week of Bike to Work Day, falling on the third Friday of May — which runs from May 16 to May 22 this year. Held as a celebration of biking to work, this week is a part of National Bike Month.

Bike Month was established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to give biking a try.
