ON THE COVER
A maximum projection of Ashyba gossypii expressing the septin Cdc11a-GFP where color corresponds to the Z-height. Various septin structures can be observed in A. gosspyii: (1) inter-region rings, which are bundled septin filaments that organize as bars; (2) basal collars that localize to lateral branches; and (3) thin filaments that run across hyphae.

Kevin Cannon PhD

Kevin Cannon PhD, is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Baker lab. He now uses cryo-electron microscopy and membrane platforms (liposomes, nanodiscs, and solid supported lipid bilayers) to examine the structural basis of cargo selection during clathrin mediated endocytosis.

Congrats Kevin!
