UNC Health’s Giving Tuesday celebration returns—supporting life-saving research, world-class medical education, and compassionate care across UNC Health, the UNC School of Medicine, and affiliated departments and programs such as ours.
Our department is proud to participate once again in the Tar Heal Tuesday fundraising campaign in partnership with the UNC Health Foundation.

We’re looking for enthusiastic advocates to help spread the word and generous donors to make an impact. We will be asking for financial help to support our biomedical graduate students. Funds will be used to fund educational expenses for Biochemistry and Biophysics graduate students, such as: travel to research meetings, stipend, recruitment expenses, and graduate student-sponsored seminars.
