Research: A convergent code
An interdisciplinary team of Carolina scientists, including Brian Strahl and John Sondek were featured in UNC's The Well. This team is rewriting faulty instructions in genomes to treat genetic diseases without changing the DNA itself. Read more about the Chemical Epigenomics Hub.

Scientists uncover new mechanism that enables development of cancer
Greg Wang and a collaborative team of researchers have uncovered a new mechanism that activates specific genes, leading to the development of cancers. This research was led by postdoc Jeong Hyun Ahn PhD from Greg Wang’s lab.
