The 2019 UNC Health Care Heart & Brain Connection EMS Symposium on November 1 will provide an opportunity for continuing education for EMS & critical care transport providers on emergency neurologic and cardiac care. This year’s topics will include pediatric neurologic and cardiac emergencies, stroke mimics and chameleons, and ECMO (pre-hospital to ED).
The event will presented by the UNC Health Care Stroke and Chest Pain Centers at UNC Rex, UNC Medical Center, Nash UNC Health, Wayne UNC Health & Johnston Health from 8am – 4:15pm at the NC Heart & Vascular Hospital at UNC Rex, Center for Learning and Innovation, 4420 Lake Boone Tr., Raleigh, NC. Lunch will be provided.
Who should attend?
Personnel including EMT’s, Paramedics, Critical Care Transport teams, First Responders and ED staff. 6.25 CE contact hours will be provided for attending the event.
