Deanna Saylor, MD, MHS, has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the American Neurological Association’s (ANA) Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Award – Physician-Scientist Clinical, a national honor recognizing outstanding clinical research by early-career neurologists.
The Derek Denny-Brown Award is presented annually to physician-scientists whose work demonstrates exceptional promise and impact in advancing neurological care. Selection is made by the ANA Awards Committee through a competitive national review process.
As part of this recognition, Dr. Saylor has been invited to deliver a featured 15-minute presentation during the Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Symposium at the 151st Annual Meeting of the American Neurological Association, taking place October 19, 2026, in San Diego, California.
In addition to national recognition, the award includes an honorarium, travel support, complimentary meeting registration, and a commemorative plaque.
