Why I Chose UNC: The faculty and staff at UNC neurology stood out to me as being incredibly genuine and happy working there. The diverse range of interests the residents had both in their professional and personal lives really appealed to me as well. A vast patient and subspecialty exposure, in addition to a program director who seemed completely invested in each and every one of the residents’ futures, further confirmed the feeling that I would not only enjoy this environment but thrive in it!
