These faculty were recently recognized at the annual Evening of Scholarship. All have been inducted as new members of the UNC Academy of Educators. Rachel Hitt was recognized as a 2021 – 2022 Graduate: Passing the Torch: Fostering Medical Humanism through developing Faculty Role Models.
The Academy of Educators (AOE), at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, was founded in October 2006 as a part of the School’s strategic plan to enhance research and scholarship towards excellence in teaching.
