It is a privilege to be entrusted by patients and their families when they come for medical care and often are in vulnerable state. I believe as a physician, I may or may not cure, but I can always help and make a difference. My goal is to work with patients and parents to ensure every child achieves physical and mental health to their fullest potential.
Clinical Interests
- Child neurology, pediatric sleep disorders, pediatric neuromuscular disorders such as spinal muscular atrophy and neurogenetic disorders such as Angelman syndrome and Down syndrome.
Basic Research Interests
- I have a focus on rare neurogenetic disorders including Down syndrome, Angelman syndrome, mucopolysaccharidosis and spinal muscular atrophy. I am interested in gene therapy and sleep/EEG characteristics in these neurogenetic disorders.
