Rachel Degrange, ACNP and member of the Division of Neurocritical Care, was selected as the 2023 recipient of the APP Excellence Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice!
Rachel was selected from a pool of outstanding nominees across UNC Medical Center and Clinics. Rachel is an exceptional team member. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of coding and documentation initiatives to improve mortality and length of stay indices, is a leader in promoting just culture through championship of the UNC SAFE reporting system, and serves as an outstanding teacher of APPs, residents, medical students and nurses in the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. We are extremely proud of Rachel for this well-deserved award!
