The UNC Epilepsy Center has received reaccreditation as a Level IV Epilepsy Center from the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). This accreditation level indicates that the center offers advanced neurodiagnostic monitoring and comprehensive medical, neuropsychological, and psychosocial treatment. Level 4 centers also offer a complete evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including intracranial electrodes and a broad range of surgical procedures for epilepsy.

This reaccreditation underscores our unwavering commitment to providing the highest level of comprehensive and specialized care to those affected by epilepsy. As a Level IV Epilepsy Center, we offer advanced epilepsy treatments and services, including complex neurodiagnostic monitoring, extensive medical, neuropsychological, and psychosocial treatments, as well as a complete range of surgical procedures for epilepsy.
