Additional Resources

We are excited that you are going to participate in the Integrative Medical Group Visit for people experiencing Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19. This website offers you information about the program, helpful resources for each weekly discussion, and provides answers to some of the questions you may have during your participation.

Some common questions asked prior to participating in the groups are answered below.

What will happen during the groups?

During these group sessions, we will practice mindfulness meditation, learn gentle movement techniques, talk about anti-inflammatory diets, discuss mental health, share our experiences, and learn from each other. You will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Dr. Barnhill if you desire.

When do the meetings occur, and how do I log on?

The group visit sessions will occur weekly on Monday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. over Zoom. We encourage you to join the meetings a few minutes early!

Here is a list of general tips while participating in virtual visits:

  • Find a quiet, comfortable place
  • Plugin your phone or computer
  • Get earbuds/headphones if that helps with privacy
  • Get on early to make sure everything is working
  • Honor each other’s privacy (we will talk more able this during our first meeting)

How much do the groups cost?

The cost of the groups depends on your insurance. Because this is a medical visit, you will be charged the same amount as if you had seen Dr. Barnhill for an individual visit.
