Ron Chen Dr. Chen received an award for outstanding student mentorship, after being nominated by several medical students, at the spring meeting of the UNC Academy of Educators meeting on May 16th.

A project to improve supportive care services for younger women with breast cancer has received a grant of more than $780,000 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Dr. Bhisham Chera Dr. Bhisham Chera’s manuscript, “Increasing Incidence of Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Oral Tongue in Young White Females, ages 18-44,” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
