Curriculum

The Department has set up a curriculum geared to challenge students in their pursuit for knowledge. The curriculum is designed to emphasize basic skills and principles, and yet be sufficiently flexible to allow students to focus on different research areas.

Course Sequences: Below are examples of typical course sequences that would be taken by a BBSP student interested in either the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology  or Biophysics track. Although sample courses are listed, our department offers and accepts many different classes as cores or electives. In the first year, students typically choose 2-3 courses in addition to satisfying BBSP course requirements. During the second year, students typically choose 2 or more courses to complete remaining course requirements. For more information, please review the degree and course requirements of our program
