Nicole Cornett (She/her/hers), Assistant Director of the Office of Rural Initiatives, has worked in various roles for over 13 years in Higher Education. She is proud to be first-generation, rural-born, and raised. Her passion is to help students see the talent that they have inside and help them find their path toward bringing that talent to light. Nicole is currently using that passion for helping southeastern North Carolina students find their path to becoming North Carolina’s healthcare professionals of tomorrow through the S.E.R.V.E. (Southeastern Rural Vocational Experiences) initiative.
