Ms. Carolyn Clabo, Director of Communications and Development was nominated for a staff award at the university level.

Our new Director of Finance and Administration, Latasha Mingo, will join the department on April 17, 2023.

Carolyn M Clabo our staff member has been recognized for reaching 10 years of state service. She joined our group in 2015, bringing her communication management expertise to support Nobel Laureate Aziz Sancar, M.D., Ph.D. Carolyn took over all communications and development management in 2017.

Larry is currently working as an accountant with the UNC Finance and Research Support Team (FiRST). Please welcome him to our team.

Leah Combs our Accountant who supported Lynn Ray our former Associate Chair for Administration and Business Manager since April 2019 has taken another position and will be leaving our department effective January 17, 2023.

On December 16th, people from all over campus came by to wish Lynn off to a wonderful start to her retirement, including members from our department, her peers from other units, retired faculty, and facilities members. We shared treats, cupcakes, and laughter!
