Internships

Many UNC BBSP students will elect to pursue 4-8 week internships during their time in PHCO. Usually students will conduct internships over a summer, typically the summer before they plan to graduate. Before applying for an internship, it is important that the student discuss the possibility with their PI, to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that expectations are aligned.

PHCO discourages full-time internships that begin or end mid-semester. If a mid-semester start or end-date is pursued, tuition, fees, and health insurance still need to be paid in full for the semester.
