Bryant Murphy, MD, will transition from his role as an associate dean in Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development to serve as a senior leadership coach on the UNC Health Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) team on August 1.
He will be involved in increasing the capacity of L&OD to deliver state-of-the-art coaching services to the audience they serve.
Murphy is a professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and associate dean in Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development. Murphy earned his bachelor of science degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He currently serves on the Board of the North Carolina Medical Society and is a credentialed coach with the International Coaching Federation.
