The School of Medicine is launching the Carolina Mentorship Network— an informal, volunteer-based mentoring network connecting early-career scholars with experienced faculty to foster support, guidance, and community in academic medicine. This one-on-one mentorship program will provide a space for open conversations, career guidance, and personal support. It is not a formal advising or evaluation program, but a collegial effort to foster resilience, confidence, and community.

Interested junior faculty, trainees and other early career scholars can view potential mentors and reach out to them directly at the Office of Research Community Resources webpage.

If you are a senior-career or retirement-track faculty member in the School of Medicine and would like to volunteer for the Carolina Mentorship Network, please reach out to Holly Krohn.
